With that aside, I had an exceptional holiday season. I took a few days off work and had a 10 day break, which was much needed. I spent some quality time gaming with the guys, ate like a gluttonous king, and enjoyed laughing and partying with my family - which is, in all honesty, what makes the holiday season great. Family and friends turn a few days off into a memorable and joyous season. I'm incredibly grateful for my wonderful family and for my fantastic friends, all of whom do so much to inspire me.
Here are some of my favorite things about the holidays.

Impromptu family photos with only half of us wearing shoes. :)

Mom's Christmas villages. :)

The Christmas tree, fully lit.

Old ornaments. (Some from before world war II)

Giving gifts. :)
I hope you had a very merry Christmas and a great New Year celebration.

oooo...I love the one with the ornaments. It is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a wonderful holiday. Family and friends truly are what make it great.
ReplyDeleteYou contributed greatly to the occasion! The great failed caramel experiment of 2010, the perfect heat-in-the-microwave slippers for cold blooded mom, the tons of snow shoveled without complaint and don't forget Bumbo for baby!
ReplyDeleteYou captured our "christmas house" perfectly in your photos. I'm glad you had fun!
You've already failed on your resolution to blog more. I'm disappointed in you.
ReplyDeleteI was coming to say the same thing Katt said...
ReplyDeletehaha, i was coming to say that also...
